Job summary

SageCor Solutions in the Maryland and Greater Washington D.C. area seeks a senior software engineer with TS/SCI w/ Polygraph to lead and mentor a development team, delivering full-stack solutions across web technologies and cloud environments.

The role requires strong experience with front-end frameworks (React/Angular/Vue), backend skills (Node.js, Python, Java) and API design (REST/GraphQL), plus collaboration with UX/UI and systems engineers to ensure accessible interfaces and scalable

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading or mentoring a development team.
• Strong proficiency in modern front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue) and standard web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
• Full-stack experience, including backend development (e.g., Node.js, Python, Java, RESTful/GraphQL API design
• Experience with state management, component-based architecture, and responsive design
• Familiarity with version control (Git) CI/CD pipelines, and cloud environments (AWS, Azure is a plus)
• Experience working closely with UX/UI and systems engineers to ensure accurate implementation of accessible interfaces
• Experience working with tiered architectural systems and in a Linux/Ubuntu environment is a plus

Serving Maryland and the Greater Washington D.C. area, SageCor Solutions (SageCor) is a growing company bringing complete engineering services and true full lifecycle System Engineering services to areas requiring (or desiring) nationally-recognized expertise in high performance computing, large data analytics and cutting edge information technologies.

Active TS/SCI w/ Polygraph required.

Required Skills:

• Proven experience leading or mentoring a development team
• Strong proficiency in modern front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue) and standard web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
• Full-stack experience, including backend development (e.g., Node.js, Python, Java, RESTful/GraphQL API design

Required Experience:

1. Twelve (12) years experience as a SWE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
2. Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Four (4) years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelors degree.
3. Seven (7) years' experience in Software Database and Repository Interface Development
