Job description

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Systems Engineer to support a company focused on defense aviation, executive transport aircraft modernization, and advanced military aerospace systems. This position is on-site in Oklahoma City, OK. The Systems Engineer will support the development, integration, verification, and validation of complex aircraft systems to ensure mission success and compliance with customer requirements. Join a team helping advance next-generation avionics, communications, radar, and defense technologies supporting critical national and international programs.

Responsibilities for the Systems Engineer include:

• Develop and manage system requirements, architecture, and design solutions
• Support system integration, verification, validation, and test planning activities
• Create and maintain systems engineering documentation, models, specifications, and reports
• Collaborate with internal teams, customers, and stakeholders to support program execution and technical reviews
• Support certification efforts, risk management, and continuous improvement of engineering processes

Required Qualifications for the Systems Engineer include:

• 3+ years of experience in Systems Engineering, Systems Integration, Verification & Validation, or related engineering disciplines
• Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and architecture tools such as CAMEO, MSOSA, or Rhapsody, as well as requirements management tools such as IBM DOORS
• Experience with system architecture development, requirements management, verification and validation, and cross-functional technical collaboration
• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or a related technical field
• Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance

Compensation for the Systems Engineer include:

Salary Range: $95,000 - $135,000 depending on experience
