Job summary

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Systems Engineer to support defense aviation and advanced military aerospace programs. This on-site role is in Oklahoma City, OK, focusing on developing, integrating, and verifying complex aircraft systems to meet customer requirements.

You will work with MBSE workflows, architecture development, and requirements management, collaborating across teams to drive verification, validation, and certification activities while contributing to mission-critical

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Systems Engineering, Systems Integration, Verification & Validation, or related engineering disciplines.
• Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and architecture tools such as CAMEO, MSOSA, or Rhapsody, as well as requirements management tools such as IBM DOORS.
• Experience with system architecture development, requirements management, verification and validation, and cross-functional technical collaboration.
• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or a related technical field.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage system requirements, architecture, and design solutions
• Support system integration, verification, validation, and test planning activities
• Create and maintain systems engineering documentation, models, specifications, and reports
• Collaborate with internal teams, customers, and stakeholders to support program execution and technical reviews
• Support certification efforts, risk management, and continuous improvement of engineering processes
