Job summary

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Systems Engineer to support defense aviation and advanced military aerospace programs. The role is on-site in Oklahoma City, OK, focused on developing, integrating, verifying, and validating complex aircraft systems to ensure mission success and customer compliance.

The ideal candidate will have MBSE experience, architecture and requirements management tooling, and a BS in a related field, with the ability to obtain a security clearance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Systems Engineering, Systems Integration, Verification & Validation, or related engineering disciplines.
• Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and architecture tools such as CAMEO, MSOSA, or Rhapsody, as well as requirements management tools such as IBM DOORS.
• Experience with system architecture development, requirements management, verification and validation, and cross-functional technical collaboration.
• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or a related technical field.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage system requirements, architecture, and design solutions.
• Support system integration, verification, validation, and test planning activities.
• Create and maintain systems engineering documentation, models, specifications, and reports.
• Collaborate with internal teams, customers, and stakeholders to support program execution and technical reviews.
• Support certification efforts, risk management, and continuous improvement of engineering processes.
