Leadout Capital is seeking a seasoned Engineer specializing in Workday HCM to join our hybrid team in New York. The role focuses on configuring, developing, and testing Workday functionalities and integrations, with a hands-on approach across the implementation lifecycle.

You will collaborate with Workday teams and business users, design solutions with developers and product managers, and build scalable test automation using Kainos while ensuring quality and adherence to best practices.

Formación

• Workday certification in one or more areas (HCM modules).
• Hands-on Workday architecture, configuration, and integration experience.
• 4+ years implementing Workday HRMS and Workday Integrations.
• Knowledge of Workday Security, Business Processes, Reports, Calc Fields, Integrations framework, Studio and BIRT.
• Familiar with Workday Community and latest features/enhancements.
• Experience leading full lifecycle Workday implementations.
• Proficiency in data modeling and SQL/SOQL.
• Experience with Web Services (SOAP and REST).
• Experience defining test strategy, plans, and defect reporting for Workday or enterprise HR software.
• Ability to communicate status and risk; comfortable with Agile/Scrum.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver Workday enhancements to support our existing Workday implementation, covering functional and technical aspects.
• Collaborate with internal Workday teams and business users, including third-party integrators.
• Participate in design sessions with developers, designers, PMs, and business systems analysts.
• Build test automation using tools such as Kainos.
• Participate in and contribute to code reviews.
• Diagnose, track and manage quality issues to resolution.
• Ensure product quality meets stakeholder expectations and create test plans, test cases, test execution, and defect reporting.

The Experience

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Engineer with expertise in Workday Human Capital Management (HCM) to join our dynamic team. This is a hybrid role where one would spend time configuring, developing, and testing Workday functionalities and integrations. In addition to Workday expertise, the individual should have knowledge of manually testing and expertise to leverage automation tools like Kainos.
You must have a solid background in Workday with hands-on experience in one or more Workday HRMS modules and a good understanding of industry best practices. You will be responsible for configuration, development, and testing through all phases of the implementation lifecycle.

What You'll Actually Be Doing

• Deliver Workday enhancements to support our existing Workday implementation, covering both functional and technical aspects.
• Closely work with the internal Workday teams and business users to understand the business requirements, including working with 3rd party integrators.
• Participate in product and feature design sessions with developers, designers, product managers, and business systems analysts.
• Build test automation that is effective, scalable, and maintainable using tools such as Kainos.
• Participate in and contribute to code reviews.
• Diagnose, track and manage quality issues to resolution.
• Ensure product quality meets stakeholder expectations and is responsible for creating test plans, test cases, test execution, and defect reporting.

You're Our Person If...

• Workday certification in one or more areas - Workday Pro in function modules (HCM Core/Benefits/Compensation/Payroll/Time & Absence/Recruiting)
• In-depth knowledge of Workday architecture, configuration, and integration.
• 4+ years of implementation experience in Workday HRMS and Workday Integrations
• Working knowledge of Workday Security, Business Processes, Reports, Calc Fields, Integrations framework, Studio and BIRT.
• Well-versed with Workday Community and latest features/enhancements of Workday Releases.
• Business analysis and requirements gathering abilities.
• Experience in leading a full life cycle Workday implementations.
• Working knowledge of data modeling design and relational database languages (SQL or SOQL).
• Working Knowledge of Web Services (SOAP and REST).
• Experience in defining test strategy, test plans, test cases, test execution, and defect reporting for Workday or any enterprise HR software applications.
• Ability to effectively communicate status and risk to the team and manager
• Experience working with Agile/Scrum methodology.
• A related technical degree required.

Even Better If...

• Experience of working on Workday modules like HCM, Recruiting, Payroll, Benefits, Compensation, Time & Absence
• Experience working on Workday Adaptive Planning is a plus
• Familiarity with Annual Benefit Enrollment, Compensation Merit and Promotion cycles
• Experience Troubleshooting with MuleSoft
• Experience working in and around the software-as-a-service and platform-as-a-service architectures and/or industry
