Job summary

Jobtailor in Coronado, CA seeks an experienced engineering surveillance professional to plan, execute, and document government-facing surveillance of design, development, and production efforts.

You will apply agency processes, review technical proposals, and provide expert inputs for leadership briefings, while driving corrective actions and continuous process improvements. A strong background in DAWIA, contracts, and performance indicators is required.

Qualifications

  • Must be a US citizen
  • Must possess and maintain a TS w/SCI eligibility
  • DAWIA Practitioner Equivalency IAW the PWS (DAWIA level II equivalent)
  • Certification in Test and Evaluation or Engineering (systems, computer, or electrical) or equivalent fields
  • DAWIA Level III desired
  • Bachelor's degree in computer, electrical, mechanical, or systems engineering
  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant engineering experience
  • Experience evaluating technologies for incorporation into identified Program Office portfolios
  • Experience developing/managing technical contracts
  • Experience identifying/coordinating technical issues and policy across various technical capability areas
  • Working knowledge of the Defense Acquisition Framework process
  • Knowledge of technical, price, and cost analysis sufficient to review proposals and actual and estimated expenditures
  • Knowledge of methods and techniques of fact-finding, analysis, and resolution of complex contracting problems
  • Ability to develop concrete action plans to solve problems

Responsibilities

  • Recommend corrective actions and establish lessons learned
  • Influence process improvements
