Job summary

National Equipment & Service (NES) in Irvine, CA is seeking a senior purchasing systems leader to design, implement, and run our inventory and procurement workflow. You will own how parts, equipment, rentals, and subcontracted work are sourced, received, stocked, and billed, ensuring every transaction has a PO, receipt, and bill.

The role leads three-way matching, price-book maintenance, and SOP creation, while collaborating with the COO, Service Manager, and accounting.

Qualifications

8+ years in purchasing, procurement, or materials management.
Experience implementing or migrating purchasing/inventory systems.
Hands-on PO creation and vendor management at high volume.
Proficiency with ServiceTitan or similar field-service ERP.

Responsibilities

Design and own the purchasing modules, workflows, and access permissions.
Build and run the PO-to-bill workflow with accounting.
Manage three-way matching (PO, receipt, vendor invoice) and credit-card controls.
Write and maintain SOPs for purchasing and inventory processes and train the team.
Lead complex procurement: capital equipment, multi-vendor sourcing, rentals, subcontracted scope.
Direct warehouse organization, receiving, and price book maintenance.
Coach the Coordinator, measure spend and inventory metrics, and report regularly.
