Job summary

NES in Irvine is seeking a Purchasing & Inventory Manager to design and run the company's purchasing, inventory, and materials systems. You will own sourcing, procurement, pricing, and reconciliation from the initial estimate to closing bill, ensuring three-way matching and strong controls.

You will collaborate with the COO and leadership to drive continuous improvement, manage complex procurements, and lead the team in SOPs and reporting.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in purchasing, procurement, or materials management
• Experience implementing or migrating purchasing or inventory systems
• Hands-on purchasing at high volume with PO management
• California driver's license

Responsibilities

• Own inventory and purchasing modules; build PO-to-bill workflow
• Three-way matching and vendor invoice reconciliation
• Write and maintain SOPs for purchasing and inventory
• Direct procurement of complex items and multi-vendor sourcing
• Forecast demand and set min/max levels
• Lead a purchasing/coordinator team and train staff
