Job summary

Amazon is hiring a cleared Systems Development Engineer to join the ADC Serverless team in Denver. You will build automation for AWS Lambda and container services, improve reliability, and reduce toil in air-gapped environments.

This role requires TS/SCI with polygraph clearance and involves working with AWS serverless and container platforms to deliver scalable, secure solutions for US Government customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or CSSLP certification required.
• 2+ years of non-internship software development experience.
• 1+ years designing or architecting scalable systems.
• Experience programming in C++, C#, Java, Python, Go, PowerShell or Ruby.
• Knowledge of systems engineering fundamentals (networks, storage, OS).
• Current TS/SCI clearance with polygraph or commensurate clearance.

Responsibilities

• Designing and building automation, tooling, and CI/CD pipelines for AWS Lambda and container services.
• Eliminate toil via self-service tools, automation, and scalable infra.
• Analyze service inter-dependencies and implement permanent fixes in code.
• Identify and resolve variances affecting services globally before impact.
• Build and maintain monitoring, alerting, and observability systems.
• Collaborate with commercial teams to implement ADC-specific adaptations.
