Job summary

Amazon Development Center U.S., Inc. is hiring a cleared Systems Development Engineer to design and implement automation and CI/CD for AWS Lambda and container services in air-gapped environments. You will reduce toil, improve reliability, and drive scalable architectures across regions.

You will work with a team of engineers focused on scalable serverless and container platforms, while maintaining security clearances and collaborating with commercial service teams for ADC-specific adaptations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or CSSLP as required qualification.
• Experience with modern programming languages listed in Basic Qualifications.
• Active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph or commensurate clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Design and build automation, tooling, and CI/CD pipelines for Lambda and container services.
• Eliminate operational toil with self-service tools and automated remediation.
• Analyze service inter-dependencies and drive permanent resolutions via code.
• Identify and resolve variances that could affect global services before impact.
• Develop and maintain monitoring and observability for fault tolerance.
• Collaborate with teams to implement ADC-specific adaptations.
