Amazon Web Services (AWS) Infrastructure Services (AIS) in Northern Virginia seeks a Systems Development Engineer to design, build, and operate secure, scalable infrastructure for the Amazon Dedicated Cloud (ADC). You will partner with engineers and product teams to translate complex requirements into automated, reliable infrastructure at global scale.

Qualifications

3+ years of development/programming/scripting experience (Python/Java/Bash/Perl).
Experience with automation and version control tools; network troubleshooting.
Experience with Linux and/or Windows OS support at scale.
PowerShell scripting and DB administration.
Current TS/SCI clearance.

Responsibilities

Configure and maintain a logically isolated classified development environment within the AWS Secret Cloud region
Monitor system health and perform routine patching and software updates across all hosted services
Administer the GitLab repository, including user access, pipelines, and version control management
Support physical lab connectivity, network switch configuration, KVM architecture, and developer workstations
