Job summary

Proconex, headquartered in Royersford, Pennsylvania, seeks an Application Engineer - Systems to support the Systems Sales Group with solution architectures and estimates. The role collaborates across Systems Engineering, Integration Engineering, and Lifecycle Field Services to define scope, prepare proposals, and deliver customer-focused solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline, Technical field, or equivalent experience.
• 1+ years of experience reading, understanding, and interpreting technical drawings, manuals, and other technical documentation.
• 1+ years of experience producing written communications in a professional or technical environment.
• 1+ years of experience with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
• 1+ years of experience using Microsoft Word and Excel.
• 1+ years of experience learning and applying technical systems, products, or technologies.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a technical advisor to the Systems Sales Group, providing expertise in product knowledge, solution architectures, and bills of materials.
• Develop technical solutions that align with customer requirements and business objectives.
• Support customer site walkdowns, product demonstrations, and other field-based activities as needed.
• Develop and review professional proposals that clearly define the proposed scope of work and supply.
• Create accurate proposal pricing spreadsheets and GP sheets, including sell prices and costs for proposed solutions.
• Partner with engineering teams to develop estimates and scope definitions.
