Job summary

Proconex, the exclusive Emerson Impact Partner, seeks an Application Engineer - Systems to develop solution architectures, bills of materials, and project estimates for the Systems Sales Group. The role collaborates across Systems Engineering, Integration Engineering, and Validation teams to align scope with customer requirements and business objectives.

This hybrid position is based at Proconex headquarters in Royersford, PA, with three onsite days per week and occasional travel to customer

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or technical field required.
• 1+ years reading and interpreting technical drawings or manuals.
• 1+ years producing professional or technical written communications.
• 1+ years with high accuracy and attention to detail in work.
• 1+ years using Microsoft Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a technical advisor to Systems Sales Group and provide expertise in solution architectures and BOMs.
• Develop technical solutions aligned with customer requirements and business objectives.
• Support customer site walkdowns, product demonstrations, and field activities as needed.
• Develop and review professional proposals with defined scope and pricing.
• Create accurate pricing spreadsheets and GP sheets for proposed solutions.
• Collaborate with Systems Engineering, Integration Engineering, and Lifecycle Field Services to develop estimates and scope definitions.
• Maintain and update internal sales support systems and pricing information.
• Extract and analyze data to support proposal development and business decisions.
