Job summary

Proconex, an Emerson Impact Partner based in Royersford, PA, seeks an Account Manager to grow existing industrial client accounts and deliver tailored solutions across oil & gas, chemical, water treatment and other industries.

You will manage relationships, identify growth opportunities, and provide technical guidance on valves, regulators, software, and projects while traveling to customer sites to strengthen partnerships.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Biology, Business Administration or related field.
3+ years of sales, account management, business development, or customer-facing experience in industrial markets.
3+ years with industrial process equipment, automation systems, or related technologies.
3+ years providing technical, consultative, or solution-based support to customers.
3+ years using Microsoft Office and CRM tools to manage relationships.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain relationships with existing clients, understanding needs and delivering solutions.
Identify opportunities to expand adoption of Emerson products including valves, software, and projects.
Conduct regular client visits to understand challenges and future needs.
Serve as a trusted advisor with responsive support and service.
Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve territory revenue and growth goals.
Collaborate with marketing to develop proposals and materials.
Travel approximately 50% within the territory to support meetings and account management.
