Job summary

The Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) seeks an experienced Systems Analyst IV - ITSP Analyst within Access & Eligibility Services (AES), Strategic Innovation and System Support (SISS), IT Strategy and Prioritization (ITSP). This role focuses on advanced systems analysis for eligibility and client-facing platforms and translates business needs into clear specifications.

You will document requirements, support testing, and collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders

Qualifications

• Knowledge of eligibility systems and platforms (TIERS, YourTexasBenefits, DataMart).
• Ability to document business requirements and translate into specifications.
• Experience producing technical, operational, or business documentation.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant professional experience in a closely related field.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced analysis of business rules and system requirements for eligibility programs.
• Translate needs into functional/technical specs and process diagrams.
• Support testing activities including user acceptance testing.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to plan deployments and releases.
