Nottawaseppi Huron Band of the Potawatomi seeks a Systems Administrator to manage in-house software systems, servers, and networks, ensuring high availability and security aligned with regulatory requirements. The role collaborates on policy planning and deployment within a tribal IT team.

Responsibilities include server management (Windows/Linux), AD administration, virtualization, scripting (PowerShell, Bash), and proactive problem solving.

Qualifications

• Must have an Associate’s Degree in a Computer Science related field and 2 or more years of related experience, a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or equivalent work experience.
• Strong understanding of Microsoft applications/infrastructure and security practices.
• Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills with a customer service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Manage a mix of Windows and Linux servers to ensure high availability.
• Admin Active Directory, patching, and user access management.
• Maintain virtual environments including VMware and Hyper-V deployments.
• Ensure security and regulatory compliance across server infrastructure.
• Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations and procedures.
