Nottawaseppi Huron Band of the Potawatomi is seeking a System Administrator to manage in-house software systems, servers, storage, and network connections to ensure high availability and security for business applications.

The role includes planning and implementing policies to align with organizational goals and regulatory requirements, with on-call rotation and collaboration with executive leadership as needed.

Qualifications

• Must have an Associate’s Degree in a Computer Science related field and 2+ years of related experience or a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
• Thorough understanding of Microsoft applications/infrastructure.
• Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills with a customer service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Manage virtual and physical servers with Windows Server and Linux operating systems.
• Maintain Active Directory, server and workstation patching.
• Ensure security of server infrastructure with industry best practices.
