Job summary

The Bishop Paiute Tribe’s Wanaaha Casino is seeking a Systems Administrator to maintain and secure the IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and desktops. You will support AD, M365, backups, and incident response while coordinating with vendors and the IT team.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in similar roles, strong Windows and network expertise, VMware experience, and excellent communication skills. On-site work in Bishop, CA with willingness for flexible hours as needed.

Qualifications

• Requires a B.S. degree in CS/IT or equivalent
• 3–5 years in Systems/Network Administration
• Expertise with Windows 10/11 and Windows Server
• Strong networking knowledge: LAN/VLAN/VPNs and security
• Proficient with security tools, IDS/IPS
• Advanced virtualization experience (VMware)
• Experience with FortiGate, Cisco, HP technologies
• Experience with enterprise backup software
• Experience with VoIP/SIP phone systems
• MS SQL Server experience is a plus
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Valid Driver’s License

Responsibilities

• Maintain physical and virtual servers, SANs, and desktops
• Manage Active Directory, Microsoft 365 and network infrastructure
• Install and manage network equipment and tools
• Manage firewalls, patching, and security policies
• Monitor performance to prevent downtime and security risks
• Maintain backups and test disaster recovery procedures
• Troubleshoot hardware, software and network issues
• Create and maintain internal documentation with IT team
• Support IT operations and vendor interactions
• Other duties assigned by IT Manager
