Job summary

CSG, Inc. is seeking a Mid-Level Systems Administrator, Level 2, to support the implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of IT systems at Ft. Meade, Maryland.

The role includes day-to-day operations, monitoring, problem resolution, and escalation handling for a range of client/server/storage/network devices, including Linux/Unix/Windows environments. The candidate must hold DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification.

Qualifications

• Provide Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis and resolution.
• Configure and manage Linux, Unix and Windows operating systems and related software.
• Manage IT system infrastructure and day-to-day operations with monitoring and problem resolution.
• Possess DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification as a minimum requirement.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.

Responsibilities

• Provide support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of IT systems.
• Provide Tier 1 (Help Desk) problem identification, diagnosis and resolution.
• Manage the daily activities of configuration and operation of IT systems.
• Provide assistance to users in accessing and using IT systems.
• Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 problem identification, diagnosis and resolution.
