Job summary

Base-2 Solutions is seeking a Systems Administrator in Chantilly, VA to join a mission-focused team supporting SOA-enabled applications and services. The role emphasizes maintaining and enhancing current capabilities and implementing system designs for mission architecture across intelligence operations.

The ideal candidate will have DoD 8570 IAT-2/IAM-2 compliance, experience with RMF, and UNIX/CENTOS and Windows environments.

Qualifications

DoD 8570 IA technical/management level 2 compliance required.
Experience on a DoD/DIA RMF development team.
Understanding of Oracle and CENTOS based architecture.

Responsibilities

Perform systems administration of desktop and server systems across LAN/WAN.
Provide support for implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systems.
Deliver training to support applications upon request.
Review documentation, witness IV&V results, troubleshoot issues, and propose improvements.
Support day-to-day IT operations for client/server/storage/network devices and mobile devices.
Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 troubleshooting and resolution.
Escalate and communicate status to agency management and customers.
Configure and manage UNIX and Windows operating systems; install/load software.
Isolate and resolve hardware/software issues across systems and networks.
Triage and integrate new technologies within SOA and migration efforts.
