Job summary

DBM is seeking a Systems Administrator to setup, maintain, and secure computer systems across the organization from our Charlotte, NC location. The role includes supporting Windows, Linux, VMware, and cloud services, plus travel to three offices in North and South Carolina.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's in IT, 2–4 years of experience, and strong troubleshooting skills. Healthcare/lab exposure is a plus, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology required.
• 2–4 years of previous work experience in a systems administrator role required.
• Experience in a healthcare/laboratory setting preferred.
• Knowledge of Windows 10/11 required.
• Knowledge of Windows Server 2012–2022 and Linux required.
• Vmware and Microsoft Hyper-V experience required.
• Knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Azure cloud environments required.
• Experience with Active Directory and network protocols required.

Responsibilities

• Set up, maintain, and manage computer systems across the organization.
• Install, configure, and upgrade operating systems on servers and workstations.
• Provide initial user support via phone, email, or helpdesk system.
• Install and manage VMware vSphere, ESXi, and vCenter environments.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and security.
• Apply updates and patches to maintain stability and security.
• Implement data backup procedures.
• Maintain network infrastructure and cloud environments.
• Assist users to maximize organization-specific applications.
