Job summary

MBDA Incorporated is seeking an experienced Systems Administrator to join the Information Technology team in Huntsville, AL. This role will support a broad range of business requirements, maintaining secure IT systems across office, engineering, and production environments.

You will troubleshoot issues, manage endpoints, networks, and manufacturing IT assets while contributing to cyber security initiatives and infrastructure improvements.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering Technology, or a related field; equivalent relevant experience may be considered.
• Minimum 4–6 years in IT support, desktop support, systems administration, or related environments.
• Experience troubleshooting Microsoft Windows operating systems and Microsoft applications.
• Working knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and wireless networking.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, peripherals, and related technologies.
• Diagnose hardware and software issues and resolve or escalate problems.
• Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Windows workstations and mobile devices.
• Manage user accounts and access requests, including authentication issues.
• Support collaboration and productivity tools and respond to help desk tickets.
• Troubleshoot wired and wireless network connectivity issues.
• Maintain accurate inventory and lifecycle records for IT assets and endpoint devices.
• Assist with endpoint protection, patching, and cybersecurity initiatives.
