Job summary

Agile Defense, Inc. is seeking an Intermediate Systems Administrator for an on-site role in Huntsville, AL. You will provision, secure, and maintain multi-platform systems in a DoD environment, ensuring RMF/NIST 800-53 compliance and supporting cybersecurity teams.

The role emphasizes automation, vulnerability management, and incident resolution across Windows and Linux estates, with 24x7 readiness and on-call rotation as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant systems administration experience.
• Security compliance experience with RMF/NIST SP 800-53 is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain Windows and Linux servers and workstations.
• Manage AD, DNS, DHCP, and GPOs; support virtualization and storage infra.
• Run vulnerability remediation and apply STIGs for RMF compliance.
• Develop automation scripts with PowerShell / Bash / Ansible.
• Collaborate with Cybersecurity and Software Engineering teams; support RMF docs.
