Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Systems Engineering.
• 5–12 years of systems or mechanical engineering experience on complex hardware programs.
• Experience decomposing and managing system/subsystem requirements.
• Experience with verification/validation, including TADI methods.
• Proficiency in MBSE and architectures/interfaces traceability.
• Ability to present to customers and leadership; strong communication.
• Experience with regulated/high-consequence engineering; DFM/DFA.
• Familiarity with ASME/NQA-1 is a plus; PE license is a plus.
• Experience with cross-functional teams and supplier interactions.

Responsibilities

• Lead evaluation, definition, design, manufacture, and verification of complex mechanical systems.
• Perform systems engineering, mechanical design, thermal/structural analysis, and trade studies.
• Decompose requirements, establish verification plans, and prepare specs.
• Conduct design reviews, manufacturing readiness reviews, and test readiness reviews.
• Communicate status and technical recommendations to stakeholders.
