Job summary

Penta Research is seeking a Systems Engineer in Huntsville, AL to lead and execute system engineering activities for defense programs. You will perform technical planning, requirements decomposition, integration, verification and validation, and support design reviews across the project lifecycle.

The role requires analyzing the full system lifecycle from concept to disposal, translating customer requirements into hardware and software specifications, and driving MBSE initiatives.

Qualifications

• Experience using Cameo and DOORS.
• Experience implementing SysML on a development program.
• Experience implementing Systems Engineering processes.
• Experience implementing MBSE analysis and execution with system models on a development program.
• Interim Secret required to start.

Responsibilities

• Perform technical planning, requirement decomposition, integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and support engineering technical reviews/design reviews.
• Analyze total system product at all levels: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal.
• Ensure conversion of customer/product requirements into total systems solutions within schedule and cost constraints.
• Develop use cases, state/diagrams, activity diagrams, sequence diagrams, block definition diagrams, interface diagrams, and other diagrams to translate requirements into hardware/software specs.
• Lead MBSE efforts.
• Champion and drive MBSE and other Digital Engineering initiatives.
• Present systems engineering products to customers in digital reviews.
