Job summary

Kiakahi, LLC is seeking an Intermediate Systems Administrator to join our growing team at the Detroit Arsenal. You will install, maintain, configure and ensure the integrity of computer systems, support GIS infrastructure, and contribute to system standards.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree in CS/IT or related discipline, 3–5 years of experience, and a Secret security clearance. You will perform backups, OS patching, and cross-functional system tasks across hardware and software

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline preferred or equivalent experience.
Three to five years of experience performing systems administration functions preferred.
Cloud or GICSP or SSCP or Security or GSEC certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

Install new / rebuild existing servers and configure hardware, peripherals, services, settings, directories, storage, etc.
Install and configure systems such as GIS infrastructure applications or Asset Management applications.
Develop and maintain installation and configuration procedures.
Provide Tier III/other support and investigate issues.
Perform daily system monitoring and backup operations.
Apply OS patches and upgrades regularly and maintain system standards.
