EnerSys is a global leader in stored energy solutions with headquarters in Reading, PA. EnerSys seeks a Systems Administrator II to maintain enterprise IT infrastructure, ensuring availability, performance, and security across servers, storage, and endpoints.

You will collaborate with senior staff, support VMware environments, Active Directory, backups, and incident response while documenting configurations and participating in on-call rotation.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent IT experience.
• 3–5 years of systems administration or IT infrastructure support.
• Proficiency with Windows Server and Active Directory.
• Experience with virtualization (VMware).
• Familiarity with backup, storage, and disaster recovery.
• Basic networking knowledge.
• Understanding of IT security best practices.

Responsabilités

• Administer Windows-based server and infrastructure environments.
• Manage user accounts, AD access controls, and security privileges.
• Support backups and recovery processes to ensure availability and integrity of critical systems.
• Monitor system performance, availability, and alerts; troubleshoot issues.
• Support virtualization environments (e.g., VMware) and routine maintenance.
• Maintain enterprise email systems and mailbox administration.
• Provide second-level support for help desk and on-call rotation.
• Document configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
• Assist with system upgrades, patching, and maintenance.
