Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) is seeking an IT Infrastructure professional to support implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of IT systems across UNIX, Linux, and Windows environments.

The role includes managing daily IT system operations, performing vulnerability scans, patching, and triage at Tier 1 and Tier 2 levels, with clear communication to management and customers. A Top Secret/SCI polygraph clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline is required; four additional SA years may substitute for degree.
• Five years of SA experience in similar scope; ITSM experience is required.
• ServiceNow System Administrator certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) support for IT systems.
• Configure and manage UNIX/Linux/Windows operating systems and related software.
• Perform account management and configuration management tasks.
• Conduct periodic vulnerability scans and patch management.
• Monitor day-to-day operations and resolve IT system issues across client/server/storage/network layers.
• Communicate status to agency management and internal customers.
