Job summary

Brentwood Industries, Inc. in Reading, PA, is seeking a Systems Administrator I to install, configure and manage core systems, platforms, computers, and peripherals. The role supports 24x7 needs and requires proactive maintenance for uptime and security.

The position includes AD management, server and network maintenance, and hands-on work with Office365, SQL, Exchange, and SharePoint. Travel to facilities domestically and internationally may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in an information technology field or equivalent experience.
• Experience with server hardware, Office365, Windows Server, SQL, Exchange, and Sharepoint.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 3+ help desk support following procedures and respond to incidents.
• Gather and apply business/technical requirements to deploy software/hardware with minimal downtime.
• Analyze system activity and maintain optimal availability through proactive maintenance.
• Configure, install, upgrade, and maintain servers, PCs, printers, switches, and access points.
• Configure, install, and upgrade key software systems including SQL, Exchange, and SharePoint.
• Configure, install, and upgrade network infrastructure to support performance and security.
• Create and manage Active Directory user accounts, groups, and policies.
• Develop and document technical processes and troubleshooting guidelines.
• Travel independently to domestic and international facilities for upgrades, training, and support.
