In support of the Charlotte County Clerk of the Circuit Court and County Comptroller’s mission as guardians of public records and assets, this position is responsible for the effective provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of network systems hardware, software, and related infrastructure. The role involves participating in technical research and development to enable ongoing innovation within the infrastructure, ensuring that system hardware, operating systems, software systems, and related procedures adhere to organizational values.
Responsibilities include SA engineering and provisioning, operations and support, maintenance, and R&D to ensure continual innovation. This position is essential in the Clerk’s office and requires availability during emergencies or critical system outages. It is eligible for remote work under the policy.
Experience with networking, servers, storage, cloud, virtualization, and OS technologies. Skills include:
Valid Florida Driver's License required. Ability to perform physical tasks as described, with accommodations if needed. Work environment includes exposure to electrical hazards, mechanical parts, and moderate noise levels.
