Responsibilities & Qualifications

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure the stable operation of computer systems and network connections, including planning, development, installation, configuration, maintenance, and optimization.
• Organize and direct configuration and operation of information management systems.
• Analyze and resolve end-user software program and connectivity issues.
• Conduct capacity and performance analysis and provide system configuration change and upgrade recommendations.
• Increase system administrator efficiency through automation tools and scripts; develop and document administrator procedures.
• Provide end-user training and conduct skills assessments.
• Recommend technological directions aligned with business vision.
• Deliver local and remote maintenance support for systems at multiple locations, including general maintenance, upgrades, and new software installations.
• Direct work of other system administrators to provide ongoing system support, performance optimization, and user assistance.
• Apply advanced technical knowledge of application networking, including load balancing and fault tolerance.
• Perform vulnerability management and ensure system hardening in compliance with cybersecurity standards.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience:
• Ten (10) years of specialized experience in Information Processing, with a focus on hands-on experience in installing, configuring, maintaining, and resolving issues with various software.
• Certifications:
• 8140 Certification (One of the following):
• SecurityX/CASP+
• CCNP Security
• CCSP
• FITSP-O
• GRACT
• Education:
• Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science in a technical discipline.
• Clearance:
• Must possess a Secret clearance (IT-I Critical Sensitive security clearance or Tier 5 (T5)).
