Job summary

Nationwide IT Services is seeking a Senior Systems Administrator to ensure secure, stable operation of enterprise software, servers, and networks. This on-site role supports multiple locations and a proposal effort, with responsibilities spanning install, configuration, optimization, and incident response.

The ideal candidate brings extensive Windows Server experience, AD expertise, and strong automation skills, plus DoD clearance and 8570 baseline certifications.

Qualifications

• Ten years of specialized information processing experience across multiple hardware and software disciplines.
• At least four years of hands-on work installing, configuring, maintaining, and supporting enterprise systems.
• Tier 5 investigation and Secret clearance.
• DoD 8570/8140 baseline IAT II or IAT III certification.
• Microsoft/DoD computing-environment qualifications for Server Admin M and Domain Admin Z.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on Windows Server engineering and administration including AD, server builds, and patching.
• Plan, install, configure, maintain, support, and optimize enterprise server platforms and network software.
• Direct and coordinate work of other system administrators across locations.
• Automate recurring admin tasks with approved scripts and tools.
• Develop and enforce admin procedures, runbooks, and training.
• Monitor health, security, performance, and reliability; perform root-cause analysis.
