Job summary

SHI International Corp. is seeking a Systems Administrator for Desktop Services at our New Jersey customer site. You will maintain and secure IT infrastructure, manage user devices, servers, AD, Microsoft 365, and endpoint management, while ensuring reliability and uptime.

Responsibilities include configuring UEM, patching, deployments, documentation, and collaborating with vendors and IT teams. Evening/weekend shifts may be required; candidates should have 1–2 years experience and relevant

Qualifications

• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in IT or related field.
• 1–2 years of systems administration or IT support experience.
• Experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and networking.
• Experience with a Unified Endpoint Management (UEM) platform such as Intune, Ivanti, Workspace ONE, or similar.
• Ability to work weekends and flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Support and maintain Unified Endpoint Management (UEM) solutions for device configuration, software deployment, patching, and endpoint compliance.
• Administer and support Windows servers, Active Directory, Microsoft 365 services, and related infrastructure.
• Monitor system health, performance, backups, alerts, and security events.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, endpoint, and application issues.
• Maintain technical documentation, support procedures, asset information, and knowledge base articles.
• Work with vendors, internal IT teams, and business stakeholders to resolve technical issues and implement new technologies.
