Unisity, LLC is seeking a senior systems administrator to support a large, complex network with air-gapped segments. The role emphasizes uptime, security, and rapid response to varied operational demands across distributed domains.

The candidate will install and manage systems, patching, vulnerability management, and AD/Windows Server tasks while collaborating with a team on diverse network-centric duties and documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related technical field plus at least 8 years of relevant experience; experience may substitute for a degree.
• Experience as a systems administrator providing direct support to end users and technical staff.
• Proficiency with Windows Server 2019 and Active Directory.
• Experience with software/hardware deployment, patches, OS, and backup/restore.
• Familiarity with SALT, Ansible, Splunk, Puppet, SolarWinds, Nessus, Red Hat, and VMware.
• Solid understanding of advanced security protocols and information security principles.
• Ability to work in client/server virtualization environments and reimage hardware.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and travel occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Install and administer systems, applications, and processes; ensure timely issue resolution and continuous operation.
• Optimize server/desktop configurations; perform security management and performance tuning.
• Create and maintain documentation for complex server/network environments for incident resolution.
• Communicate outages and upgrades to users and support personnel; coordinate with upper management for resolutions.
• Identify and correct hardware/software issues and respond to maintenance problems with re-work solutions.
