Job summary

SimVentions, Inc. is seeking a System Administrator to design and implement Windows- and Linux-based solutions for a government software hosting facility at the NAVAIR base in Pax River, MD. An active Secret clearance is required, with eligibility to obtain Top Secret after start.

The role focuses on RMF/STIG compliance, server administration and secure DoD guidance adherence. Candidates should have at least three years in system administration, a Windows or Linux certification, and experience

Qualifications

• At least three years of relevant system administration experience.
• Experience with RMF compliance including STIG and ACAS scanning.
• Certification in a Windows or Linux operating environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering solutions for government software hosting facilities.
• Deploy and maintain physical and virtual hardware, including VMs and containers.
• Perform routine maintenance and configuration changes on hosts.
• Install, configure and troubleshoot servers, workstations and IT equipment.
• Maintain system backups and disaster recovery plans.
• Manage user accounts and permissions.
• Deploy and maintain software applications.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and document configurations.
• Ensure DoD guidance security posture and continuous monitoring.
• Participate in Agile project planning and provide on-prem networking support.
