Job summary

SimVentions, Inc. is seeking a System Administrator to develop and implement Windows- and Linux-based engineering solutions within a government software hosting facility. The role requires on-site presence at the NAVAIR base in PAX River, MD, and an ACTIVE Secret Clearance with potential to obtain Top Secret after start.

This future-funded position will not begin before September 1, 2026. You will deploy and maintain hardware, virtual environments, and containers, perform routine configuration

Qualifications

• Active Security+ certification preferred.
• Experience implementing RMF compliance, STIG, and ACAS scans.
• Windows and Linux system administration knowledge required.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering solutions for government hosting facilities.
• Deploy and maintain physical and virtual hardware, VM's and containers.
• Maintain backups and disaster recovery plans; manage user accounts and permissions.
