Job summary

Bank Iowa is seeking a Systems Administrator in West Des Moines, IA to support the bank's technology infrastructure and application systems. This role ensures maximum efficiency and stability through well-documented processes and timely execution.

You will handle reactive and proactive system administration, Microsoft 365, Hyper-V, network switching environments, security operations, audits, and vendor coordination, translating technical solutions into business outcomes.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in computer related field or relevant experience.
• Minimum 4 years' experience in Information Technology.
• Minimum 2 years' experience managing and implementing systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide reactive operational support with an emphasis on ticket resolution, ticket escalation, troubleshooting, and resolution.
• Perform proactive system administration including maintenance, patching, lifecycle management, and monitoring.
• Participate in project work and implementations with partial ownership of assigned initiatives.
• Administer Microsoft 365 services including Entra ID, Intune, and Copilot Studio.
• Administer virtualization platforms including Hyper-V.
• Provide working-level networking support for Meraki, Aruba, or Juniper switching environments.
• Participate in information security operations including system hardening, log review, vulnerability remediation, and incident response.
• Assist with regulatory exams and audits including evidence gathering and remediation.
• Create and maintain technical and audit documentation.
• Partner with internal business units to translate technical solutions into business outcomes.
• Coordinates various vendors when additional in-depth technical assistance or telecom support is needed.
