Job summary
Iowa Bankers Insurance & Services, Inc. is seeking a Senior Systems Administrator to support our IT Operations Team. The role focuses on deploying and maintaining enterprise-grade solutions across Windows Server, M365, VMware, Azure and our security platforms.
You will lead initiatives, support disaster recovery testing and ensure compliance while collaborating with vendors and internal teams. This on-site position requires relocation to Johnston, IA, with a strong emphasis on reliability and
Qualifications
- Associates or Bachelor's degree (or equivalent work experience).
- 5+ years of Enterprise Network & Systems Administration Experience.
- Experience with Enterprise Software Solutions (Windows Server, M365, Vmware).
- Experience with Enterprise Hardware Solutions (NetApp, Cisco).
- Strong communications skills, both verbal and written.
- Must live, or be willing to relocate, to work on-site at Johnston location.
Responsibilities
- Lead new initiatives and develop policies/procedures as needed.
- Provide second level help desk support.
- Test disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
- Remediate security scans and ensure compliance requirements.
- Interact with vendors/partners to maintain strong partnerships.
