Job summary

Jobtailor seeks a skilled MS Systems Administrator in Chantilly, VA to support DoW healthcare infrastructure. You will manage Active Directory, GPOs, SCCM, VMware, and patch cycles, while coordinating with DoW security teams.

The role requires Security+ and ability to obtain a Secret clearance, with strong communication and teamwork in a hierarchical, process-driven environment. You will engage with DoW facility users, support DoW customers, and contribute to modernization efforts.

Qualifications

• Interacts with DoD customers and facility users to resolve issues.
• Maintains procedural documentation and knowledge-base articles.
• Provides hands-on technical support across Windows/Linux environments.

Responsibilities

• Support engineering solutions and provide hands-on customer support.
• Engage face-to-face and virtually with end users to solve technical challenges.
• Coordinate with DHA system administrator personnel to configure and deploy services (SCCM, Active Directory).
• Support AoA analyses in infrastructure modernization and automation.
• Serve as a stakeholder for hosting test events at a government medical testing lab.
• Verify patches, upgrades, and modifications of Windows and Linux systems.
• Share knowledge through training and mentorship of team members.
• Manage accounts and group policies using Active Directory.
• Analyze GPOs and DoW STIGs with Cyber Security staff.
• Use VMware/vSphere virtualization and diagnose system issues.
• Provide general technical support for hardware and software.
