TEKsystems in Montgomery, AL seeks an experienced Enterprise Systems Administrator to install, configure, and maintain Windows Server and Microsoft 365 services across hybrid environments. • Install, configure, and maintain Windows Server and related services across physical, virtual, cloud, and hybrid environments.
• Administer Microsoft 365 services, Exchange Online, eDiscovery, and security/compliance features.
• Manage Active Directory and Entra ID including GPOs, LDAP, and hybrid identity.
• Build and manage Intune and SCCM deployments, patching, and policy enforcement.
• Oversee virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V) and storage integrations.
• Administer backup/recovery (Druva) and DR/biz continuity testing.
• Create runbooks, diagrams, inventories, and technical docs for operations.

Job description

Primary Responsibilities

• Install, configure, administer, maintain, patch, monitor, and troubleshoot Windows Server and related enterprise infrastructure services across physical, virtual, cloud, and hybrid environments.
• Administer Microsoft 365 services and associated security/compliance capabilities, including Exchange Online, collaboration services, content search/eDiscovery support, service configuration, and operational troubleshooting as assigned.
• Administer Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID capabilities including users/groups, Group Policy, LDAP, hybrid identity, MFA, federation/ADFS where applicable, directory synchronization, access configuration, and identity-related troubleshooting.
• Build, deploy, manage, and troubleshoot endpoint and configuration-management solutions using Microsoft Intune and Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager/SCCM, including Windows servicing, application/package deployment, compliance settings, and policy implementation.
• Administer enterprise virtualization and hypervisor environments such as VMware vSphere/ESXi/vCenter, Microsoft Hyper‑V, Nutanix AHV, or comparable technologies, including VM provisioning, templates, snapshots, host/guest maintenance, cluster operations, capacity, and performance troubleshooting.
• Administer Druva and/or comparable enterprise backup and data‑resiliency services, including protection policies, schedules, retention, backup monitoring, restore operations, recovery validation, reporting, and escalation of failed or degraded protection jobs.
• Participate in disaster‑recovery and business‑continuity activities by testing restoration procedures, validating recoverability, documenting recovery dependencies, and supporting recovery exercises for protected systems and data.
• Support enterprise storage and file services, including SAN/NAS or cloud storage, file shares, permissions, capacity monitoring, performance, lifecycle, and integration with backup/recovery platforms.
• Administer core infrastructure services such as DNS, DHCP, certificate/PKI dependencies, time services, service accounts, scheduled tasks, remote administration, and related server utilities.
• Perform Windows patching, WSUS/servicing activities, vulnerability remediation, system hardening, configuration‑baseline enforcement, and corrective actions in coordination with cybersecurity and infrastructure teams.
• Use PowerShell and other approved scripting/automation tools to standardize administration, reduce manual work, gather operational data, perform bulk changes, and improve consistency across systems.
• Monitor system health, event logs, utilization, backup status, virtualization capacity, service availability, and infrastructure alerts using enterprise monitoring and management tools; take corrective action or upscale as appropriate.
• Troubleshoot complex incidents involving servers, operating systems, authentication, network dependencies, storage, virtualization, backup/recovery, Microsoft 365, endpoint management, or integrated third‑party services.
• Support migrations, upgrades, platform changes, server refreshes, decommissioning, tenant/service changes, and infrastructure projects using established change‑management and testing practices.
• Create and maintain system diagrams, inventories, configuration records, support documentation, standard operating procedures, recovery runbooks, knowledge articles, and technical implementation records.
• Work with product owners, help desk teams, cybersecurity, networking, cloud, storage, database/application teams, vendors, and other technical groups to resolve incidents and deliver infrastructure services.
• Research and evaluate system software, hardware, utilities, and platform capabilities and make recommendations that improve reliability, security, recoverability, performance, or administrative efficiency.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited four‑year college or university with a focus in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant professional experience.
• Five (5) or more years of progressively responsible experience supporting and administering enterprise systems, Microsoft platforms, server environments, or related infrastructure services.

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $70.00/hr.
