Job summary

IDR, Inc. is seeking a Systems Administrator in Houston, TX to support enterprise telecommunications, unified communications, and contact center operations.

You will partner with internal teams and vendors to ensure reliable communication services and contribute to service delivery improvements. Responsibilities include administering CUCM and Cisco Unity voicemail, supporting NICE CXone, and documenting incidents for continual process improvements, with an emphasis on AI-assisted productivity

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience supporting telecommunications, telephony, UC, or contact center tech.
• Experience administering CUCM and Cisco Unity voicemail systems.
• Working knowledge of NICE CXone administration and support.
• Familiar with AI-assisted productivity tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day administration and user support for telephony and UC services.
• Administer CUCM including provisioning, device configuration and permissions.
• Support Cisco Unity voicemail services and mailbox management.
• Administer NICE CXone and coordinate with support resources.
• Document incidents and contribute to process improvements.

Job description

IDR is seeking a Systems Administrator to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Houston, TX . In this role, you will support enterprise telecommunications, unified communications, and contact center operations in a fast-paced environment. You’ll partner with internal teams and vendors to ensure reliable communication services while contributing to continuous improvements in service delivery.

Position Overview for the Systems Administrator:

• Provide day-to-day administration and support for corporate telephony and unified communications services, including adds, moves, changes, and user support.


• Administer and maintain Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM), including user provisioning, device configuration, calling permissions, and system upkeep.


• Support Cisco Unity voicemail services through mailbox management, call handler configuration, troubleshooting, and end-user assistance.


• Administer and support NICE CXone, including account management, profile maintenance, troubleshooting, and coordination with support resources.


• Document incidents and service requests in the ticketing system, coordinate with vendors/internal teams, and contribute to operational and process improvements (including use of AI-assisted tools).

Requirements for the Systems Administrator:

• Associate degree, technical certification, trade school training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience


• Experience supporting telecommunications, telephony, unified communications, or contact center technologies in a business environment


• Experience administering or supporting Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM) and Cisco Unity voicemail systems


• Working knowledge of NICE CXone administration and support functions


• Basic understanding of AI interfaces and AI-assisted productivity tools
