Job summary

Baystate Health in Massachusetts seeks an experienced Clinical Policy & Practice Coordinator to support system-wide nursing policy governance, clinical practice standards, and nursing communication. This role, under the Director of Nursing Excellence, ensures policies are current, compliant, and aligned with evidence-based practice and regulatory requirements.

The ideal candidate is an RN with at least 5 years of progressive nursing experience, a BSN, and strong project management skills.

Qualifications

• Current MA RN license or eligibility.
• 5+ years of progressive nursing experience across departments or care settings.
• Bachelor’s degree required; at least one degree in Nursing.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate development, review, revision, approval, implementation, and maintenance of system nursing policies and clinical resources.
• Manage policy review schedules, version control, documentation, and governance processes.
• Facilitate clinical policy committee meetings and coordinate stakeholder review and approvals.
• Partner with nursing leaders, clinical experts, quality, compliance, legal, risk management, HR and other teams.
• Support regulatory surveys, accreditation reviews, and organizational readiness.
• Provide guidance on templates, governance requirements, and documentation standards.
• Monitor policy metrics and improve policy management workflows.
• Lead system-wide nursing communication to disseminate policy updates and practice changes.
