Job summary

LCEC in North Fort Myers, FL is seeking an Engineer I, System Planning to support electric operations with data retrieval, load forecasts, and system studies. You will work with senior engineers across distribution, transmission, and substation projects on planning analyses and capital budgets.

Requires a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering, 2–5 years in power engineering, and strong MS Office skills. On-site work, storm duty readiness, and the ability to work long hours during outages are

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required.
2–5 years of engineering experience in power systems preferred.

Responsibilities

Retrieve SCADA data for analysis and reporting.
Develop and update load forecasts and system studies.
Support capital budgeting and distribution system improvements.
Assist with transmission, distribution and substation analysis and planning.
