Qualifications

• This job requires 2–5 years of experience in operations or maintenance of electric generating plants.
• Experience with supercritical coal-fired units is preferred.
• Strong budgeting, communication, and problem-solving skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute system maintenance strategies.
• Track preventative maintenance and document equipment failures.
• Manage work orders and communicate needs for weekly plan.
• Support and review root cause analyses on system issues.
• Budget labor, materials, and equipment; monitor costs daily.
• Use tools like Maximo, OIS, Word, and Excel to monitor progress.
• Plan and execute outage scopes for forced, planned, and maintenance outages.
• Coordinate maintenance crews and contractors; monitor quality and cost.
• Analyze critical situations and determine safe, effective solutions.
• Contribute to Best Practices program and stay current with equipment tech.
• Provide technical direction to maintenance personnel; engage vendors.
