Job summary

Eetdbuyersguide is seeking a Maintenance Team Leader to direct a plant maintenance team in a natural gas power facility, oversee the CBOutage/Stage Gate process, and drive continuous improvement across safety, reliability, and cost controls.

Responsibilities include outage planning and execution, budget development, and leadership of direct reports to uphold high standards of operation and maintenance. Strong planning, budgeting, and contract-management skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent work experience (e.g. 10 yrs of power plant experience with at least 5 years of maintenance).
• Experience with O&M/Capital Budget development, executing and management.
• Experience in Work Management processes and maintenance strategies (planning and scheduling).

Responsibilities

• Oversee safety, compliance, budgeting, reliability, and all aspects of the plant maintenance program.
• Direct and schedule maintenance personnel; manage staffing issues.
• Develop direct reports and foster a culture of strong operation and maintenance fundamentals.
• Lead outage planning and execution; manage cost, schedule, and safety processes.
• Plan near-term and long-term maintenance budgets and participate in project cost control.
• Contract management/contractor oversight for routine and outage work.
• Staff and manage outages and assigned projects; coordinate with planning and operations.
• Drive resolution of key business process, budget, and maintenance strategy issues.
