Job summary

Salt River Project (SRP) is seeking a Training & Development professional to design, deliver, and evaluate operator training for Transmission and Generation Operations (TGO). The role focuses on ensuring NERC, WECC and FERC compliance, with hands-on development of materials, simulations, and exercises.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED plus apprenticeship or power plant training.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field is acceptable.
• Must obtain active NERC certification within 6 months of start date.

Responsibilities

• Apply ADDIE process to analyze, design, develop, implement and evaluate training for TGO personnel.
• Develop and maintain training courses on NERC/WECC standards and related tasks.
• Create training materials, instruct classes, and coordinate simulations using OTS.
• Lead emergency exercises such as Blackstart and System Restoration drills.
• Document compliance evidence and maintain training records.
• Perform reviews of operator tasks and maintain NERC credentialing requirements.
• Mentor new trainees and conduct progress reviews with the team.
• Design targeted courses with clear objectives and assessment methods.
