Job summary

Salt River Project seeks a System Operations Instructor to plan, develop, and deliver comprehensive training programs for Transmission and Generation Operations (TGO). Under supervision, you will design lessons, coordinate instruction, and evaluate operator readiness to ensure safe and reliable electric system operation.

The role requires a strong background in electric utility operation, experience with SAT/ADDIE methods, and proficiency with training simulations.

Qualifications

• Minimum five (5) years of related electric utility operating experience.
• NERC Certificate (RC/BITO/BIO) credential preferred or required.
• Experience designing and delivering operator training programs.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, develop, and evaluate training for Transmission and Generation Operations (TGO).
• Instruct training classes and facilitate simulations using the OTS.
• Maintain compliance records and perform annual reviews of operator reliability tasks.
