Job summary

NVIDIA is seeking a hardware-focused engineer in Santa Clara to tackle advanced chip testing, characterization, and validation. You will work with ASIC, DFT, ATE, silicon validation, and fab teams to resolve issues and drive improvements across processes.

Ideal candidates have a BSEE/MSEE and 5+ years of related experience, with strong problem solving and communication skills. PCB, PCIe, and DRAM/DDR familiarity are a plus.

Qualifications

• BSEE or MSEE degree (or equivalent).
• 5+ years of hardware product engineering or similar background.
• Strong problem solving and communication skills.
• HBM/GDDR memory experience a bonus.
• Python for large-scale data analysis helpful.

Responsibilities

• Solve complex testing challenges and develop new methodologies for reliable testing of chips at SLT.
• Characterization, yield enhancement and spec validation.
• Coordinate with ASIC/DFT/ATE silicon teams to resolve issues.
• Drive process improvements through root-cause analysis.
• Improve workflows and methodologies across multifunctional teams.
