He/she/they are responsible for integration among Epic Bridges, an interface engine (Corepoint), automated managed file transfer (GoAnywhere MFT) software, and other tools as needed. Interfaces include but are not limited to: laboratory, radiology, immunization registry, billing, pharmacy, dental, HIEs, and our Health Plan. This role requires strong technical ability.

The following are key responsibilities of an integration engineer: analyzing and designing system specifications; modifying system build; data mapping; establishing interfaces; developing and modifying code, functions, programs, and routines; resolving and escalating integration issues; providing consulting services to application teams, vendors, and/or customers regarding how to integrate information technologies into clinical and business processes; designing and evaluating new data interchange formats; improving physical design; and documenting data policy, standards, and procedures.
Skills sets for an integration engineer include interface administration, web services (REST/SOAP), HL7, FHIR, CCDA, XML, EDI, FTP, TCP/IP, API, Microsoft SQL, etc. to accomplish these goals.
Education & Experience
