Job summary

TrustedQA, Inc. in Colorado Springs is seeking a C2BMC Test Engineer to integrate hardware and software into testbeds and operating systems, and to perform full system checkouts of virtual machines, networks and message flows.

You will collaborate with MOS elements and Government customers to troubleshoot complex issues, write test plans and reports, and develop scripts for log and traffic analysis. Some travel to fielded sites may be required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or STEM field from an accredited college.
  • 0–2 years of experience as a system integrator/administrator, or 4–6 years in lieu of a degree.
  • Domain expertise in Networking, Linux, and/or Windows.
  • Self-starter with good communication and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced Government customer environment.
  • Basic troubleshooting and understanding of hardware/software in distributed virtual environments.
  • DoD 8570 IAT Level-II certification (e.g. Sec+) required at start.

  • Support meetings with National Team groups, MOS elements, and Government customers.

  • Work with various internal and external entities across the Missile Defense System (MOS) to test. troubleshoot. and resolve complex system issues; author test plans and procedures; write Problem Reports to document issues; provide feedback to Developers
  • Create and modify scripts to extract specific information from log files; perform data analysis of input/output and internal message traffic
  • Operate and troubleshoot C2BMC systems during test events and integration activities
  • Support meetings with National Team groups, other MOS elements, and Government customers
BasicQualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering. computer science, mathematics, physics or other STEM field from an accredited college and 0-2 years prior experience as a system integrator or administrator; or 4-6 years prior experience in lieu of a degree
  • Domain expertise in one or more of these areas: Networking, Linux. and/or Windows
  • Self-starter with good communication, interpersonal and problem-solvingskills and an ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment with the Government customer as well as personnel internal and external to the program
  • Basic troubleshootingskills and an ability to understand the hardware and software components running in a widely distributed. virtual environment
  • Ability to conduct complex troubleshooting by analyzing application and system logs. network configurations. and interface documents
  • DoD 8570 IAT Level-II certification (e.g. Sec+) required at start
Preferred Qualifications
  • Technical knowledge of the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Missile Defense System (MOS) including sensors. shooters. command and control systems, and networks
  • Prior integration and test experience within the Command and Control, Battle Management and Communications (C2BMC) program
  • Experience with Agile Methodologies; creation and management of capabilities, features, and PRs
Other Notes
  • Non-standard work hours may be required on occasion, depending on testor fielding schedules
  • Position is based at Schriever SFB in Colorado Springs, CO but travel to fielded sites as well as National Team locations (e.g.. Huntsville, HWY83) may be required

Salary: $90,000-95,000K
